Dr. Johannsen started her educational journey by graduating cum laude from Boston University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She attended dental school at the University of Southern California where she discovered her ability to connect with children and establish a trust that guided them through treatment. She then completed a 2-year residency in pediatric dentistry and received a Master of Science in Dentistry at the University of Washington and Children's Hospital in Seattle. Dr. Johannsen enjoys running (she completed her first marathon in 2006!), cooking/baking and spending time with her husband, 6-year-old step-daughter and new baby girl.
Dr. Anne Reeves
Dr. Reeves graduated with honors from UC California Davis where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Nutrition. She continued her education at the University of Washington where she received a Master in Public Health which focused on improving the oral health of children and families. She attended dental school at UCLA and her experiences there reinforced her passion for children's dentistry. She then completed a 2 year residency in pediatric dentistry, and received a Master of Science in Dentistry at the University of Washington and Children's Hospital in Seattle. Dr. Reeves enjoys stand up paddle boarding, cooking (and eating), and spending time with her family.
Dr. Jeff Marks
Dr. Marks earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biology and Chemistry from the University of Utah. He was elected student body president during his fourth year of dental school at the University of Washington. Dr. Marks spends a few weeks each year providing medical and dental care to children in remote areas around the world. He enjoys mountaineering, kayaking, and traveling with his family.
