Our Seattle community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our strong commitment to your child’s health and safety.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment:
Our office will ask some screening questions such as, “Have any of your family members experienced symptoms of COVID-19 or been in contact with a COVID-19 patient?”
Please arrive with a mask or some sort of face cover. We will also have a hand sanitizer station that we will ask you to use when you enter the reception area.
Please have your child come to the appointment with just one guardian, if possible, and remain in the waiting room or your car until your child is done.
You may see that our waiting room will no longer have a coffee machine, magazines, or toys available since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
Please reschedule your child’s appointment if you or your child are experiencing any cold symptoms that day (cough, fever, runny nose, or shortness of breath).
